Personality:
Piper is sarcastic to the extreme and twice as biting when she is in a bad mood. She keeps herself aloft and away from most people, preferring her own company or that of the very few people she actually calls friend. Her biggest weakness is classic literature and she loves reading stories in Latin or ancient Greek. Well read, she's intelligent and witty and loves a good debate with intelligent people.
Shes also always been the type to keep herself fit so she prides herself on her ability to fight and take care of her own business. She's not arrogant but she does like to hand you your ass if you get out of line.

Bio:
Born to a pair of older, hippy type parents, Piper basically had to grow her own self up. With an artist for a father and a mother intent on music, the young woman matured at a fast rate and went her own way more often than not. Watching the world around her with an intent eye, she soon noted that not everything was as it seemed and decided to keep an open mind about anything that came her way.
Obtaining her GED after being home schooled, Piper set out to experience life as a "normal" teenager and enrolled in college. Never really fitting in with any certain crowd, she spent her college years bar tending and waitressing. With a love for the mid evil times, she earned a degree in folklore and history before devoting herself to writing a book about the history of the world.
Eventually, she secured a job with a museum and was bored silly. During this time a good friend was arrested and accused of the rape and murder of 3 young women. The young man swore up and down he was innocent but was convicted anyway. Spiraling down in a deep depression, he hung himself in his cell. Two weeks later, the killer struck again and it was discovered that it was a "look alike" to her friend.
Furious and disillusioned, Piper set out to find the culprit and it lead to her knowledge of the supernatural world. From there on, her life was never the same. With a degree in Literature and history, she headed out to find her place in the world. Holding down various jobs here and there while tracking down weird occurrences, she has finally rolled into New Orleans to look up an old friend.
Little did she know she was walking into the middle of battle zone central. One night while canvassing a neighborhood, she ran into a group of "THE WRONG CROWD." and paid for it with her life.
Literally.
It was only by luck that Piper managed to survive the change after being left to die in the shadows of an alley. When she came too, she was seized by bloodlust and attacked a passing human only to get smacked around a bit and then hauled back to a house where blood banked bags were fed to her until she was satisfied. Only then did she realize what she was and how to handle it.
Since then, she's occupied a house she's shared with Kat Foster and hunted the things that go bump in the night. At least, those who need put out of their misery. When Kat is off duty, they like to hang out and eat pizza before Kat teaches her even more ways to survive her new life.
