Abilities: Alana is as swift and graceful as her leopard. She is nimble and very strong, using her sharp claws to easily attack her prey…or foe. She has picked up many techniques from living in the wild, which has made her the perfect hunter for the supernatural.
Personality: A very wild child with a strong appearance. Her time spent alone turned her into an untamed soul that does as she wants and doesn’t care what anyone thinks about her. When she’s in her human form she is always looking for some fun. If roaming in her leopard form she stalking the wild to find prey, which usually consists of animals that cannot outrun her. There is none too many that can’t. She is very fast.

Bio: Alana grew up with her parents until her mid teens. They were a strong family that were on the poor side, but they scraped together what they could for their children. Alana left at the age of fourteen. She knew she was not normal and could change into a snow leopard, which had her leaving home at a very young age.
The snow leopard shifting was part of her blood. A "curse" (as her ancestors liked to call it) that was passed through her family, but at some point long forgotten. It was told of by her ancestors on her mother's side. They thought it was an old adage. It had been many, many years since they spoke of the shifting that had been long since forgotten. Alana never knew of this shifting that was passed on down the family line because it had not been spoken of in so long or she would probably not have ran away.
She took refuge in the wild, acting more beast than human. It has turned her into a very wild person. She does of her own free will. The small community of snow leopards in the wild welcomed her openly, which was where she found home for a good ten years. The more time she spent in this leopard form the farther she felt from her human life. This was what lead her to moving from the state and heading out to New Orleans.
The weather there is hot and muggy, nothing that she likes. It makes her grumpy, but it keeps her in her human form. She has lest temptation to change, not that she doesn’t. Her leopard form displaces her. She loves that feeling of being a beast, so when her human form gets the best of her she takes off for the wild to find a moment of release.
Of course, she thinks a lot of her family in Alaska, human and leopards, but mostly her human family. Her brother had only been at the age of ten when she left. She did not want to hurt them, which was why she abandoned the life with them. She never felt right in her own skin as a human. If she was to change and hurt any of them that would have killed her, so she went off to live in the wild in this life of solitude. In ways being closed off from humans for so long has made her the type of person that would rather be left alone, except that could change if someone broke down that barrier she constructed around herself.
