White hot, burning panic blew through the skinwalker's chest as he looked down into his woman's face and watched it change back to the visage that haunted his dreams. Horror swarmed him, right on panic's heels, and his fist hovered in the air by his ear. God...had he killed her? Please, please, say that he hadn't hurt her. Her voice cut right into his soul, and he sucked back a howl as she whispered those fateful words and closed her eyes. A cry tore itself from his chest as he gently set her down and put his ear to her chest. Heartbeat, heartbeat, please, Gods, let there be a heartbeat! She couldn't be dead; he couldn't have killed her! He'd thought his other half had bonded to her; it would be near impossible for him to-- Relief poured over him like a cooling balm, as his ear caught the faint flutter of her heart. Finally, for once in their damned existance, the Gods had answered his prayers. Whispering his thanks in a language he'd sworn off centuries ago, Ty slid his arms around her gently and cradled her against his chest. He had to take her somewhere safe; somewhere she couldn't do any harm, and where others wouldn't try to harm her. He knew firsthand that if this ever got out- an already powerful psychic being possessed by something as notorious as a FURY- there would be a price on her head. The bad guys would want to use her as a weapon, the good guys would want to prevent that; on and on, the list of enemies grew, and determination took over all intelligent thought in his head. Determination and protectiveness. He had to keep her safe. So, he took her to the only safe place he knew of; his home. Screamers would be a bad idea, given the popularity of the place. And while he knew Wulf was probably strong enough to stand up to the bitch if she returned, he didn't trust the old wolf not to seriously injur her. He loved his friend like his own blood brother, but knew that duty ruled the shifter. If Chloe posed a threat to the general population, or the existance of those the Council protected, he WOULD take her out. And Ty...well, Hades, he just couldn't let that happen. The ride back to his place was a blur; somehow, he'd managed to keep her unconcious form on his bike as they screamed toward his apartment across town. Once there, he'd laid her out in his bed and paced the room, hands tensed around the bao sticks he held, just in case the Fury awoke and not the woman inside. He would protect her at all costs...even if it were from herself. And in the end, Chloe would win, not the damn Fury. He would see to that. Pain. Pain and a feeling that she'd been in a bad bar fight and gotten the shit end of it was the first thing Chloe became aware of. Groaning and rolling to her side, she felt an instant flare of agony and couldn't repress the sound that escaped her lips. A sound that caused her eye lids to flicker wildy and then finally open only to take in a strange place. Then the panic set in. Where the hell was she? Maybe more importantly, what the hell did she do last night that she couldn't remember how she'd come to BE here? Normally, even on a drunken binge, she always remembered the night before. What the hell was going on? Chloe: Then awareness flooded in followed by horrific memories. Chloe: She'd been unable to sleep. She'd decided to go hunting. The warehouse down by the peers. The dead body. The woman lurking over it. The eyes. The face. THE FURY. OH GOD! THE FURY! Bolting upwards on the bed, Chloe felt panic take hold and even the flares of pain didn't bring any ease. Putting her hands to her face, she was aware of nothing in the room but the flashes of images in her brain. Images of Tyreeses face... Of herself lunging at him.. Of the blows shed exchanged with him. Of the last look upon the skinwalkers face before conciousness had faded. Oh Dear God. It couldn't be real. It just couldn't be. It had to have been a bad nightmare. But then that voice whispered from the shadowy parts of her soul. "No, little hunter.. It was no nightmare." Lunging to her feet, the huntress through her hands over her ears and shook her head wildly. Without thinking, she shouted "GET OUT! GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!! I WON"T LISTEN TO YOU!! YOU AREN"T REAL, DAMN IT! YOU AREN'T!" Even as she spoke, however, the presence in her mind grew until Chloe felt as if she were being ripped apart. A dark seductive power seemed to creep and crawl out of every corner and then the voice spoke again. "You know, little hunter... There is no reason to fight me. You and i... We could make such a team together. We could do things your little mortal brain only ever imagined. We could punish all those evil doers who roam the earth and rain the mother earth with their blood. We could destroy all those things that you hunted before but with so much more ease. That is who and what I am.. I am the punisher of the evil and I never rest.. I could give you some many new powers and we could lay waste to the wickedness of the world... The rule of the just could once more reign and we would be its sword of truth... Doesn't that sound like the world you always wished for? Doesn't that appeal to you? I'm not truly evil, little one... I am a fury... I do not punish those undeserving of it but I bring fitting punishment upon them. Isnt' that what you did before? Come now, little hunter... Let us join together and bring an new order to this world of sin and chaos." Lost in her own mind, Chloe rocked to the lull of the fury's voice. Dropping her hands from her ears, she closed her eyes and responded to the logic of her counterparts words. Why was she fighting? Wasn't what the creature promised exactly what she wanted? Why was the niggling feeling of unease pounding on the walls of her prison? Wouldn't it just be easier to give in and take what the fury offered? At her first groan, Ty was off of the ledge of his bedroom window, and when she rolled over, he was practically looming over her on the bed. If it hadn't been for fear of the Fury waking up fully and deciding his nose would be a ncie start for breakfast, he'd have practically smooshed his face into hers. Thank the Gods that it hadn't been necessary; he recognized the panicked eyes that opened up and looked around confusedly. Then she proceeded to jump up, making him jerk back with a curse so that she wouldn't smack her forehead against his, and leap out of the bed. Yup, it was definitely Chloe in there now; only she could make him this crazy in less than ten seconds. Gripping the long bamboo stick in his hand, the skinwalker tensed and waited for some kind of attack. When she started yelling instead, he hurried over and grabbed her arm. She didn't seem to be looking at him, as she was more interested to talking to the bitch inside her, and he resisted the urge to give her a good shake. But, when that resigned look came onto her face, he knew she was going down a stupid route. "Chloe?" He said, giving her arm a little squeeze. He hesitated for a minute, but ended up tossing the bao onto the bed. Taking both her arms in his hands, he gave her a gentle shake. "Chloe, look at me. Whatever that bitch is saying to you, she's lying. Don't listen to her. Listen to me, Reynolds. Open up your goddamn eyes and LOOK AT ME."

The feel of someone touching her arm almost made her jump. However, that voice was still talking and its seductive tone held sway over her mind. It seemed so logical that Chloe had a hard time understanding just what it was that she was fighting. It didn't seem to make any sense. The being wanted the same things she did... So why did it seem so wrong to give in. It was the gentle shake that made her eyes fly open at precisely the moment she would have caved. The shake and the other voice that called her back from the abyss. Tys voice. With dark brown eyes filled with confusion, the huntress stared up at the huge bouncer. "Ty? What's... Whats happening? I can't.... I don't.... Somethings wrong.... SOmething happened...." Reaching up with her free hand, Chloe rubbed at her temples and tried to think through things rationally. Unfortunately, that just made her head ache. "Where am I? How did I get here?" she asked, trying to get her act together. Then fear spiked. "Oh my god... Tyreese.. Are you ok?? Did she... Did I hurt you??" she blurted out, fear in every syluble. Anxiously looking him over, the chocolate haired beauty frantically checked for injuries. It was only when she found none besides a few bruises that she let out a sigh of relief. Her eyes filled with tears at the mere thought of it and what she'd done and that voice seemed to laugh from the recesses of her mind. What the hell was happening to her? More importantly, how the hell was she going to keep it from happening again? Shaking her head, she continued. "I .. I don't understand any of this... It doens't make any sense... This.. being.. creature... thing... It was inside the other woman.... I fought it and.. It killed me.. I know it did... it sank its claws into my stomach... I know I was dying... I know I died... but.. I'm alive...." she stammered out, looking up at him in confusion. "The next thing i remember is attaching you... And this voice in my head. She said she was some kind of fury... The punisher for some ancient God. Her whole job is to punish the wicked..... " It was almost endearing, hearing her fret about potential injuries and pat his body down for bandage bumps. If the situation hadn't been so dire, he would have laughed and shown her some of his nastier scars from the Arena. But, as it was, the impending harpy locked in her brain took away from the playful reply that came to his mind and he brushed it away firmly. Catching her wrists in his big hands, he held them up between them, trying to catch her attention again. "Chloe, I'm fine. You have to know by now that I've faced things much stronger than what's inside your head." A concerned scowl darkened his features as she sputtered out what she knew, and fear took place of concern in his chest. A Fury? An ACTUAL Fury? He'd heard the lore and tales of those frightening spirits when he was a child, scared into obeying his elders with stories of the justice-minded monsters taking him away during the night. But he'd never thought that they were real! Even though he knew it was a bit contradictory, given that he was good friends with a shifter AND a goddess. Why wouldn't Furies be real as well? With a little growl in the back of his throat, Ty pulled her into his chest and wrapped his arms around her securely. His other, darker side wanted the bitch to come out again; wanted to face her for a rematch and tear her to pieces for harming what was his. But his human half couldn't stand to watch those eery eyes replace Chloe's and he gripped her tighter. "It's gonna be alright, little bird," He managed to say, pulling back to look at her sternly in the face. "Fury or not, she's not going to control you anymore. We'll figure this out and get her out of you as soon as possible. Until then, you're going to stay with me." AH Hell.... And just like that, the fragile control Chloe had on her emotions snapped. With Ty's arms around her and his words lingering in her ears, Chloe let out all her fear and worry. As the tears came, she clung to Ty like he was the last lifeboat on the sinking Titanic and she was bound and determined not to be left behind. And, of course, she couldn't do it prettily like some women. Oh No! Not Chloe Reynolds who never did anything by half measures. Her tears came out in huge, wracking sobs that turned her noes red and her eyes a deep bruised color. Somewhere in the back of her mind, her inner self was sure that Ty was completly horrified about being used as a snot rag but hell... there was no stopping the tide once the dam had broke. NOpe.. Independent, reckless as hell Chloe Reynold's turned into a complete girl. When she was finally able to collect herself, the young woman pulled away with an abashed look up at his face and hiccuped. Feeling awkward and completely out of sorts by her outburst, Chloe tried to square her shoulders and take up something resembling her normal demeaner but if the look on Ty's face was any indicator... She failed MISERABLY. "I'm sorry..... This isn't your problem.. I didn't mean to dump it on you," she said, wrapping her arms about herself and pasting on what she hoped was at least a small smile. "I just.... I don't want to drag you into this.. I don't what this thing to hurt you... to hurt anyone I care about.. It might be best of I go... " Ah gah, save him from the inadequecy of his gender! When he'd taken her into his arms, he'd expected her to merely hug him back before regaining her composure; probably with some sarcastic quip that would have him smiling. But when she broke down crying instead...all he could do was stand there frozen. It had been so long since he'd held a woman; forget holding a CRYING one, and he forgot for a moment what he should do. He'd held Kaera as she'd wept over her husband, sure, but that had been a long time ago. Awkwardly, he rubbed small circles on her back and held her tight against his chest, deciding that his proximity would be enough. When he was hurting, words were nothing...but touch? Touch made him feel grounded. Not alone. So, resting his cheek against the top of her head, he rocked her slightly from side to side and let her cry it out; continuing to rub his palm against her back. The monster inside him started to growl again, enraged that the woman of its affection was hurting so. The sounds of her sobs made his chest ache and his jaw crack from clenching his teeth so hard. He wanted to rip the bitch out of her and beat it until it bled. Or worse...until there was nothing left but a stain on his floor. "Shut up, Reynolds," The skinwalker growled, reluctantly allowing her to pull away from him. "If you even think about stepping out that godsdamn door, I'll tie you to the bed over there. We're in this together, end of story. Now, let's talk battle plans, because we're gonna need one if we're gonna be getting that bitch out of your head." The words were said firmly and, with an equally commanding look on his face, he motioned for her to take a seat at the little table across from the bed. Like hell she was going to go anywhere but into the damn living space, dammit.

{OK, We lost some stuff in our chatzy because we wrote so fast and I didn't get it all saved. Thankfully, I think its only the beginning of Chloes post here So... At a later point, I will try to revamp her response.} "Ty, what if... What if she were willing to compromise? The woman wouldn't have given me this ...... duty.. if she hadnt thought I was strong enough to hold it. If I can strike a bargain with her... That she's only allowed to come out and play when I'm fighting.... Maybe... Just maybe I can have some control over her.... IT would also allow me to hunt the things that I hunt and it would satisfy her need for vengence... Don't you think?" Casting him a hopeful look, the young woman felt the fury inside stir and felt the creatures intrigue at such a plan. She had no doubt that the fury would do everything it could to overwhelm her but the idea of being free for even a bit of time seemed to ease her feriosity."The only way we'd know is by trial and error... You and me... Your capable of taking her on so until I get control over this thing, you could help me....." she said, biting her bottom lip and worrying on it. "I mean, I know I've been a pain in your ass and all but..... I need you, Tyreese.. I need your help and theres no one else I can trust.... " Make sense? Did ANY of this shit really make sense? Forcing himself to calm down, Ty crossed his arms over the wide expanse of his chest, eyeing her intently as she moved around. How much of what the Fury said could they trust? The bitch seemed to like to play mind games, and if she was having a grand 'ol time in Chloe's body...who knew what she'd say to stay inside? Either way, though, if she thought serious changes in emotion were what triggered the Fury to come out, she'd better learn now to zen and fast. And he'd just keep his big ass mouth shut, he thought with a grim little mutter...which immediately evolved into a scowl when she laid out her plan. Yeah, some plan. Let's give into the obviously homicidal Fury and see what happens? HELL no. "A bargain? Are you joking, woman?" He couldn't help but bark. He paused, obviously struggling with his infamous temper and managed to continue speaking in a more level tone. "You don't know what the hell that thing's end game is, Chloe. It could just be using you...tainting you, and for all we know, it might not even be a damned Fury to begin with. I don't trust it not to hurt you." He was being truthful, hoping that said Fury wouldn't freak out at his words and break free again, but he had to say it. His first and foremost concern was for the woman in front of him; for her safety, her sanity and her life. He could care less if the spirit inside her could get its jollies on the hunts she went on; he wanted to make sure SHE was safe and sound. ...Which might entail striking a bargain with the devil. Bah, he didn't like this. He didn't like ANY of this. With a loud sigh, the skinwalker moved slowly toward her, stopping when he was only a few inches away. His hands itched to touch her, but he wasn't sure of his control at the moment and kept them where they were. "Of course I'm going to help you, Chloe. Why else would I take you to my home? Just...converse with the spirit, or something. If anything goes wrong, you make it known to her that I WILL end her." Well, it that wasn't a declaration to make a woman feel all warm and cozy inside. Or at least, it made Chloe feel that way anyways. It was about as close as a declaration of his feelings as she was probably ever going to get. That was just peachy keen with her. She knew words of love or any other sort of caring didn't come easy for the warlike skinwalker but he obviously felt something for her or he wouldn't have brought her into his private quarters or fought the fury for her. He'd have just killed the creature and said good riddance. But he hadn't done that... Had he? Oh no, instead he stood before her rigged with tension and threatening to bitch with murder in order to keep HER safe. If Chloe had been an emotional sort of girl, she figured it would have drawn tears to her eyes . Thank freaking God she wasn't. Instead, she did something she'd been wanting to do for a very damn long time. After all, when you didn't know which moment might be your last, you tended to take risks for things you truly wanted. Without giving it concious thought, Chloe went on her tiptoes and placed her hands on either side of his face. She could see the flare of surprise in his eyes just before she pressed her lips to his but it didn't stop her actions. For the moment, she was alone in her mind and his words had given her hope. Hope that if they somehow found a way out of this, there might be something here to come home to. If not, she had this. It was enough. As their lips finally parted, Chloes lashes opened and she stared up into the fierce eyes of the one man who'd always driven her nine kinds of crazy. Dropping back down to the pads of her feet, she tilted her head slightly and licked her lips. The taste of him was intoxicating but it was the heat of him that truly made her want those arms to wrap around her and hold her tight. Something told her that there was safety to be had there and the woman in her craved it about like chocolate in a dieters binge. Thankfully, Chloe had to much pride though to beg for something that wasn't freely offered though and she simply gave him a little smile. "Sorry.... I've just always wanted to do that and I figure that if worst comes to worst.. IT'd give you a reason to really wanna throttle me...." Okay, so when he'd growled a reluctant 'okay FINE' to her plan of attack, he hadn't been expecting THAT kind of thank-you on her part. He'd noticed the change in her stance; the softening of her eyes and the way her shoulders relaxed slightly, as if a weight had been lifted off of them. He expected some kind of sarcastic comment, or at least a heart felt thank you...but never that. Never in a million years would he have imagined Chloe Reynolds to be so damnably brazen. ...Which was probably why the Hallelujah Chorus started playing in his head on loop. Fuck, and he wasn't even Christian! He didn't touch her; just leaned into the kiss with his hands fisted at his sides. He wasn't sure what was going on- if she was saying goodbye, hello, or what- and wouldn't be the one to take things farther than she was willing to go...but when she pulled back and smiled up at him...hell, licked those damned addictive lips? His brain proceeded to melt and all common sense just drifted away. There was just her and him; his woman, his partner, his everything. "You want me to throttle you?" He managed to growl, voice a low, dangerous rumble. "Talk about things getting so 'worse' that you can't do that again. Shut up, Reynolds, before you ruin the moment." With that, he hooked an arm around her waist and jerked her towards him, lowering his lips to hers in an almost punishing kiss. He didn't want to hurt her, knew that he sometimes forgot how much stronger he was than the average human, but he couldn't seem to stop himself. His hands traveled down to her ass, urging her against him, and he slid his tongue against the seam of her lips, practically begging for entrance. If she pulled away from him, he wouldn't know what the hell he was going to do...and what was worse? The monster inside his head was practically purring its satisfaction at his claiming. After this, there was no going back; not for him. To say Chloe was surprised by Ty's words would have been an understatement. For a moment, she stared at him in stunned bemusement and then there was no more time to say anything because he was kissing her like no tomorrow. Which, was quiet all right by her because her own response was to try to eat him up. Pure joy sprang from her soul as their bodies collided and when he cupped her ass, her legs automatically made his body their new favorite climbing tree. OH GLORY GLORY HALLELUJAH. Her hormones were definitely throwing a party at this change in the weather. She was quite sure that they were fixing on shooting off fireworks and they weren't even to the main event yet! Damn, guess thats what happened when you finally got to have a hot and heavy make out season with the object of all your teenage fantasies. Seriously, with all that build up and to finally have the real thing at your fingertips? Damn, the gods could onlyexpect so much from a girl. Pulling her lips away from his for a moment in order to catch her breath, the chocolate haired vixen grinned at Ty wickedly. With a wiggle that was so brazen that she thought his eyes might cross, she giggled and nipped at his lips. In a tone that was so sultry that it dripped, she drawled out "Hmmmmmmm... Since I know that ain't no sock in your pocket... I'm going to assume that your damned happy to see me?" Then, ruining it with a snicker, she laced her arms even tighter around his neck and felt his muscles bunch as he held her close. "Seriously, Gla'Dour. I could have sworn you looks surprised a few moments ago when I kissed you.I thought by now you would have figured out that every time I came into the club.. It wasn't for any of those boys.. It was because I wanted to be doing this and you just wouldn't cave."

Gods, but she was like a drug to him. He'd expected her to pull away at first, even though she'd started the entire confrontation; use some excuse about her Fury and run away from him. But when she returned his kiss eagerly and he felt her legs wrap around his waist? Whatever common sense he had flew out the window; all the anxiety, the irritation, the confusion was all gone. There was just her. And Gods, did she feel fuckin' awesome. "Shut up, Reynolds," He managed to growl yet again, eyeing her wryly as she proceeded to rib him. "Can't I just kiss you without your talking so damn much? Gah. We're gonna have to work on this...." And, without further ado, he swung her up so she was resting above his hips and made easy time to the bedroom. For the next few hours, he proceeded to show her how nice silence could be...even if said quiet involved some screaming on both their parts. His poor neighbors had probably called the police at some point. Afterward, when all of the air seemed to have vacated his lungs and his body felt deliciously sated, Ty stared up at the ceiling of his 'bedroom' and panted. Maybe this whole 'possession' thing hadn't been such a bad idea? For once, he hadn't minded losing just a tiny bit of his control; the bitch came in handy for making his human a bit stronger than she normally was. Tugging her into his side, the skinwalker looked down at her with a wide, contented smile. "Lesson over," He said in a husky rumble. "Now...we'd been talking about something, before you'd distracted me with your amazing body. What was it again?" Holy hell in a handbasket. By the time Chloe collapsed in a mindless, boneless puddle at the man's side, she was to sated, to exhausted to even lift a finger, much less talk. Her body ached in ways that said muscles she never knew she had were going to hurt but it was the good kind of hurt that brought a canary cat smile to her face. Damn, she'd always known being with him would be a thing of her wickedest fantasies but ..Whoa, that had exceeded anything her poor mind could have come up with. Hell, the fact that they'd made it to the bedroom amazed her cause she didn't have any memory of moving to it! When the darkly erotic rumble of his voice came out, the young huntress let out a small, lazy yawn and then opened her eyes to look up at him. For a moment, she gazed at him sleepily and then shook her head. "I dunno..... I don't think I can think that hard......" she drawled out, not wanting to think about reality. "What I do think though is if you keep doing all those things to me you just did.. We aren't going ot have to worry about me getting into trouble cause I simply am not going to have the energy...." Tracing her fingers over his chest, she propped her chin on one hard pec and then grew serious. "How come it took me dying and getting possessed for you to finally take me to bed? Always before, you avoided me like the plague or something!" she queried, poking him in the ribs lightly. "I'm beginning to think maybe having an immortal inside me might have its benifits." With a little rumble, Ty crossed his arms under his head and eyed her with a very cocky grin on his face. It had been so long since he'd been with anyone, that the mere fact she looked as spent and content as he was, his manly ego could sleep at night. A chuckle escaped him as he shifted under her in a stretch. "I'll keep that in mind, then. One way to keep you out of trouble; take you to my bed. I think I can handle that." He loved the way she felt, curled around him like some naughty version of a human sized kitten. He loved the way she smelled, and how his inner monster practically purred in happiness; for once forestalling its gnawing on his brain in favor of some cuddling. He felt more at peace than he ever had; all because of one little decision to let his guard down. He knew that there was still a chance that something would happen to her; that she would leave him, or die, as his family had...but for once, he just didn't have the strength to give a damn. All he really cared about was that she was there, in his arms, alive. Hades...oh yeah, she was definitely alive... He knew the moment a serious thought flashed through her head; he could see the amusement drain from her eyes. He braced himself for whatever it was, and grumbled when she spoke again. "Don't say that. You're not gonna fuckin' die again," He said, a bit harsher than he'd intended. He felt the sudden need to break their little bubble and put some distance between them, and it was probably obvious to her, as his muscles began to systematically tense. Hell, what did he have to lose? Why not try a little truth? "Look...I never 'took you to bed,' because I figured you'd find someone who's more...you're age, or something. And because I wanted you too much." He looked away from her then, shifting uncomfortably as he rearranged the sheets around them. Wow, talk withdrawel. Chloe couldn't help but wonder if it had always worked in the past for him and then snorted at her own stupid question. Of course it had. To bad for him he'd chosen to bed her cause she was the type who enjoyed a good chat after sex. Just another annoying thing he could chalk up about her she thought almost evilly. "More my age? Dude... Don't be archaic. Age is just a number. I was born old. You were the one who told me I must have an old soul when I was barely legal to drive..... Besides..I saw the way you glared at all the men I flirted with. If you were seriously waiting for me to go and find someone more suited then you sure as hell had an odd way of showing it. The poor assholes took one look at your stormy face and hightailed it for the door." she retorted, sitting up and catching at the sheet so the it didn't quite fall to her lap. "And don't think I didn't want to kill all those women who couldn't seem to keep their hands off of you. If you hadn't sent them packing, I'd have had to introduce more than a few to Mr. Lefty. Wulf once asked me if he was going to be called on to provide an alibi for one of us and he was almost right a few times." Then, twisting back around, she flounced back against the pillows and stared up at the ceiling. Her brows scrunched up for a moment before she let out a long breath. "I knew I wanted you the first night I laid eyes on you.... You about scared the hell out of me by coming out of the dark like that but it only made you more attractive to me... I'd been out on my own for so damned long that no one gave a shit weither I showed up alive or dead and you... You proceeded to give me the worst tongue lashing I'd ever had and then turned around and instead of calling the cops... You gave me money and a place to lay my head. Course.. I couldn't be taking charity so I snuck out but.... I knew that night I wanted you and never quite managed to get it through my head that I couldn't have you." Glancing sideways, she grinned. "Don't you wish you'd called the cops now??"

Oh, joy to the world; she wanted to talk about how much of a sexually frustrated ass he'd been. Wonderful. That was JUST the topic he needed, to go back into that after sex bliss. Godsdamn, but he always seemed to be torn between wanting to strangle her and kiss her. Would the tug of war ever end? ...Yeah, he hoped not either. "They weren't right for you anyway," He grumbled, more to himself than to her. Shifting beneath her again, he couldn't help but secretly enjoy the feeling of her weight on his chest; an intimacy that he'd never thought he'd be able to experience for himself. How many times had he stood in the crowded room, watching her leave with some dumb ass with a tattoo, wondering if the lucky bastard would get to hold her in his arms that night? He'd been so sure that his being in her life as anything other than an old aquaintance would be problematic; that he was just too much of a hard ass motherfucker for her wild self. For just a second, while she gave him that 'you've gotta be kidding me' look, with her body curled around his...Gods, just for a second, he could actually picture himself holding her just like that for the rest of his days. ...Which, in all reality, might be many more than hers, if not for the harpie inside her. Dammit, it was so wrong to feel that sudden slice of appreciation for the annoying spirit. Really, really wrong. He watched her silently as she spoke, curling an arm around her when she flounced back onto the bed. Turning his head, he raised a brow at her wryly. "You do know that all that just made you sound like you have one helluva Daddy Complex," He couldn't help but remark, fighting a grin. When those last few words left her lips, however, the amusement faded from his eyes and he pushed himself up onto his side, so he could look down at her. "What I regret is that it took us so damn long to get to where we are now. And that it involves that annoying bitch inside your head," Leaning down, he stole a kiss. "I regret the fact that we're both stubborn assholes. And that you're so damned tempting... Snorting in amusment, Chloe gave the huge shifter a prod in the ribs. "Yeah... Maybe its a sugar daddy complex then. You gonna keep me in style in exchange for amazing sex??" she teased before feeling the bed shift beside her and looking up into his chiseled face. The serious expression there and the words that followed made her smile before her lips were taken in another kiss. "Baby, it works two ways, you know.... It definitely wasn't your growly nature that kept me coming back....Ok, well .. maybe it was a tiny bit but.... Hell, your lucky that I"m as stubborn as you say or I might have run off with some bad boy a long time ago and then where would you be?? Without little ol me to annoy the hell out of you and keep you from being suck a sour puss...." Then, grinning, the fiesty brunette kissed him hard before rolling away and hoping from the bed. As her sable hair tumbled down her back, she gave him a sassy glance over her shoulder and grabbed up his discarded t-shirt before heading for the shower. Her limbs ached with delicious heaviness and a hot shower called to her. "I'm hungry, Gla'Dour... If I'mma gonna be your personal sex kitten then its your job to feed me." she teased, ducking into his bathroom and turning on the hot water. "Unless you wanna join me and wash my back!!" Hearing him grumble from the other room and knowing the poor guy probably needed a moment to gather his thoughts, Chloe climbed under the warm spray and sighed. For the next few moments, she simply enjoyed the feel of the water on her skin and pushed reality away. Unfortunately, as soon as she started to relax, the creature in her head started to stir. As the being stretched and purred like a well fed cat, Chloe leaned her head against the wall of the shower and sighed. Round Two... Here we go. To her surprise though, the bitch in her head made no move to take control and seemed to be sated for the moment. As much as she hated the fact that she had to share her body with something like the fury, at least it seemed that certain things kept the beast at bay. Thank god for small favors. Deciding that finishing her shower while she could might be the better part of valor, Chloe hurried through her absolution's and then stepped out of the spray. Toweling of, she slipped on Ty's shirt and then looked in the mirror. For a moment, she simply studied her own reflection and was surprised to find herself relatively unchanged. All except for the definite shadow that seemed to lurk in her eyes and shift even as she watched. The husky laugh that accompanied it made a shiver go down her spine and she gritted her teeth against the realization that her life was never going to be the same. So be it. It wasn't as if her life had been a box of chocolates anyways. "Bring it on." she told her inner bitch and was surprised by the vibe of appreciation she got from the other half. "Maybe you are worthy after all, little hunter" she seemed to purr. "Damn straight I am," Chloe snarled back. "You and I.... We'll dance.. but on my terms and if you don't like it..Fuck you and the corpse you rode in on. I'm nobodies puppet and if you don't like it... tough shit." That said, the former huntress left the bathroom in search of her lover and something to feed the other monster in her stomach that was growling. And what thoughts they were. He'd only smiled at the flirty remarks thrown his way; replying with bland sarcasm, as he was content to just lie there and hear her voice. She'd always sounded like an angel to him, no matter how much the others described her as a hellion. Every move, ever thought and every word was calculated in that intelligent little mind, and he'd always respected that. She had the mind of a fighter, a leader. His perfect match. When Chloe left the bed, he enjoyed the view for the few seconds he had, then flopped back onto the mattress. He lay there for a few minutes, listening to the shower start and the curtain slide back and forth. He had no idea what this was going to end up being; if he was even ready to be in any kind of relationship, given the crap in his past. If he wasn't careful- if SHE wasn't careful- he would give into the urge to protect her; smother her...because if he lost her, as he had his wife and child? Gods, not even the Fenrisulfrs could put him back together again, as they had all those years ago. Though they'd only just jumped into...whatever this was, he was attached. Hell, if he wanted to be truthful with himself; he'd always been fuckin' attached. It was how life was, around the crazy woman after all; all in, or nothing at all. Deciding that lying around in bed was going to make him insane, Ty rolled over and snagged his jeans. Padding barefoot and bare chested into the kitchen next door, he took out two beers and popped them open. The cool liquid felt good as it slid down his throat, and he rolled his shoulders. They were tight and stung; evidence of the little fingers that had dug into them, only a half hour ago. The reminder made his blood heat and a satisfied, all male smile tilt his lips. When he head the bathroom door open, he called out to her. "You know...we're gonna have to think of a way to explain this to the others," He said, once he spotted her face. Gods, but she looked ridiculously good in his shirt. "Your new 'friend,' and our...being together. Wulf is gonna shit a brick, either way." Slowly ambling out into the main room, Chloe glanced around and grinned when she saw Ty in the kitchen. With the loose hipped grace of a fighter, she headed towards him and then wrinkled her nose a bit at his words. Yeah, that could be a tricky one. Wulf was notoriously protective of his family but hopefully he'd understand once he heard all the facts. It wasn't like he didn't KNOW her... Hell, she'd practically grown up around the club and she was on a first name basis with the whole damned clan. She had a feeling that she was going to need their help to but.. If Wulf decided she was a threat.. Just the thought of it made a shiver crawl up her back. He could very easily order her imprisoned or dead. Which would really suck for her. "Um... yeah..... about that..." she said cautiously. "Do you think there's any chance he might know of someway to help me with this .. thing? Fury? Whatever it is?? Or that he might know someone? According to her... if we try to pull her out... Then I'm a walking dead lady. Call me selfish but.. I really, REALLY don't wanna die again..." Rocking back and forth from her heels to her toes uncomfortably, Chloe peeked up at him and then couldn't resist slipping her arms around his middle and burying her face in his hard chest. It was all well and good to play the big brave bitch but that didn't mean she wasn't a scared kid inside at the thought of losing her freedom and her life. Especially now that she finally had the one thing she needed almost as much as the air she breathed. "Can't we just like.. pretend this didn't happen?? Maybe just go on a permenant vacation or something?? Cause I don't like the idea of seeing King Wolf all pissed at me. I might have to hurt him."

Chloe:
Slowly ambling out into the main room, Chloe glanced around and grinned when she saw Ty in the kitchen.
I really, REALLY don't wanna die again..."
Rocking back and forth from her heels to her toes uncomfortably, Chloe peeked up at him and then couldn't resist slipping her arms around his middle and burying her face in his hard chest.
Tyreese:
With hooded eyes, Ty watched her walk towards him, loving the sultry sway in which she moved. She seemed like a dancer, albeit a tough one...and Gods, she was beautiful. How he'd managed to keep his hands off of her for so long was currently beyond him.
Crossing his arms over his chest, the skinwalker leaned back against the kitchen counter and shook his head. Wulf knew many things, but he doubted that a fury who possessed people randomly was something he'd be familiar with. But...maybe Erik? The other shifter was in touch with an insane goddess, but a goddess nonetheless. Maybe 'ol Neh-ie had information about one of her sisters in mythology. Sliding his arms around her when she swooped down onto him, he held her tight against his front and placed a kiss on the top of her head.
"You're not gonna die again," He growled, nuzzling her with his cheek. His hand splayed possessively over the small of her back and his expression turned murderous at the mere thought. Once again, he felt a little slap of surprise at the ferocity of his feelings, but he shoved it away. He was quickly becoming used to scaring the crap out of himself.
Shaking his head with a low chuckle, he looked over at the wall above her head. "You know that can't happen. Wulf is gonna find out either way and it'd be better for everyone if we were the ones who brought the intel to him. Either way, you're gonna be safe and you're gonna be staying with me. I've known Wulf for a long time, and he knows that he'd have a handful tryin' to pry you away from me. But we do have to tell him."
Chloe:
Ok, so as much as Chloe hated to admit it... she knew Ty was right. Not only that but it was unfair to ask him to keep something of this magnitude from his closest friends and allies. She'd been around. She'd seen the mutual respect between the Fenrisulfr clan and it was obvious that they'd adopted her gladiator as not only a friend.. but as family too. There was no way that keeping her little secret was even viable... much less wise.
Pulling back, the petite huntress signed and ran a hand through her damp hair. Her eyes were dark with concern as she turned to fix some coffee and then glanced out into the late afternoon sunlight. As she did so, she realized they'd been happily occupied for the better part of the day and it would soon be evening. No doubt, Ty was on duty at the club and any further absence on his part would probably draw undue notice. Notice that they wouldn't like, no doubt.
"Well, I suppose your right and if we are going to do it... We might as well get it over with." she huffed out with a sigh. "Before we go, I need to stop by my motel and grab some clothing. As much as I like your shirt... I don't think you'd appreciate the rest of Screamers seeing me in it and it alone... And if you do.. thats one fetish I don't think I'm up for. Voyeurism isn't really my thing..."
Giving him a small smile, she stood on tip toe and kissed him once more before heading back for the bedroom. "Give me just a few to get ready and then we can go.... Something tells me we might wanna get the chat over before the club gets to busy and there are less witnesses to Lord Wolf biting our heads off."
