Absynthe
At the west end of the city’s main thoroughfare you will find an exclusive nocturnal hotspot. The gothic black brick building was once a church, but has been transformed into a supernatural den of impurities. The club caters to both human and immortal alike; though most of the human patrons have no clue they are mixing with deadly killers.
Stepping inside you are involuntarily struck with a profound chill; one that travels over your skin and burrows deep within your bones. This chill may be from the wintery temperature at which the warehouse maintains, but more likely from the malevolence taking place within the stark onyx walls.
The club is a cavernous space; with lofty ceilings from which black rot iron chandeliers hang; the light they provide is dim; minimal illumination to the massive dance floor that makes up most of the nightclub. Adding to the macabre ambiance of the discothèque are massive black marble effigies of angels and demons locked in battles, which have been built into alcoves in the walls and towering over dancers from great platforms in the marble floor. Massive cages also rise from several places around the dance floor; at any given time a patron or a hired entertainer dance or thrash within.
To the left and right of the floor, immense black and red veined granite mirror backed bars have been set up; housing a variety of liquor for every taste.
As well as the human drinks, the bar offers a selection of fresh blood; the taps fed from tubes in the walls; these tubes connected to any number of humans kept on reserve in the next room.
A scattering of tables are placed around the bar, but the majority of them are housed on the upper floor where a more laid back area has been set up.
At the very front of the lower floor is a huge stage where, on occasion, the club hires entertainers; from popular musicians to dance troupes, to circus acts.
When its not being used for that purpose, patrons may use it as an additional dance area.
On either side of the lower wall, massive stone staircases lead up to the open top floor where another bar is housed, as well as booths tables and couches for a more relaxed atmosphere. Beyond this room are several other spaces; private quarters; playgrounds of submission, torture and pleasure.
